When something is troubling you, where do you usually turn? Do you feel like you have a solid network of emotional support? Do you communicate with your best friends in person or online?

If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would you choose and why? What if you could trade places for keeps, would you consider it?

There is indeed someone I would trade places with, but I am not telling anyone.

In other news. Last night I went to the most awesome Christmas party ever. It was a blast. We had lots of food, and played pictionary. We wrote on the cards ourselves what the things to draw were. I also got to meet one of the folks that watches me on FA, Fuji, who also wore a white tiger suit, which was really cool. Rozz let me take home a giant chuck of rock salt, it's on my desk right now. It's really very cool. The weather was really nasty, but at least we were always inside anyway, so it didn't matter much.

Today I feel like I am coming down with a cold. This sucks big time. I already stayed home one day last week, so I can't stay home again this week. Unless I feel really really bad, I will have to go into work. We do not get sick leave at my work.

I am going to go to bed early tonight, I am so tired, and have been pretty much all day today.

If cryogenics became a real, affordable option (i.e., if you could freeze your body until aging and illnesses were better understood), would you consider it? If so, do you fear you'd miss out on the wisdom that comes with growing old and dying?

Absolutely, Positively, without a doubt NO. It's a stupid idea. It's even cartoonishly absurd. I am reminded of this time when I was a little kid and I got this dried sea horse in a bag, and it was supposed to come back to life when you put it in water. Of course it did not come back to life, and all I had was a STILL dead AND wet sea horse. I think it's tragic when someone dies of a sickness because there is no cure, but that is life. We do the best we can with what we have, and frankly this cryogenic thing is spooky. I think all it's really about it prolonging death. Eventually you will die. Thank god we do, could you imagine if everyone actually lived forever? Where would I keep all my stuff? There would be no place for it, because there would be all these stupid old people walking around using up all the space.

Is there any character from a novel or film that serves as a role model to you? What kind of advice do you think she or he would give you regarding any major issues you're facing right now?

I genuinely can't think of anyone. Most of the characters I can relate to from books would be the sort others would say "not the brightest crayon in the box, eh?" They the ones who coast through life with plain ole' dumb luck. I mean, I can recognize the sage and the smart, but I don't know if I understand them so much.

In other news I am staying home from work. I was feeling kind of sick yesterday around 3ish and came home early. I seem to be okay so long as I stay fairly still, or lie down. I am taking this day to catch up on commissions. I can stay pretty much in one spot to just draw, so although I am not making AS MUCH money at home, I am still making a little bit.

Do you think society puts too much pressure on people to be in relationships and/or have children? Do you think this ostracizes people who would be perfectly content to remain single and/or child-free? Is this pressure worse around the holidays?

Hell, yes! I mean, seriously folks, WHAT. THE. HELL. Who died and put you in charge of the joy and happiness of other people? When it comes to kids, though, I mean, that's a huge thing there, and if someone does not want to have kids, it's probably because they know damn good and well they would make an unfit parent. Those people should not be pressured into having kids. Screw the family name. I've personally met many people who have kids who absoultely have no business taking care of another fragile human life. It's a very bad thing. Thankfully I've had little pressure, lately, to be in a relationship. I do not want to be in one! No, really, I don't. I know some people think that's crazy, but I do not care what those people think. They can find someone else to date. To an extent this "pressure" may ostracize people, but I think it's not as bad as it used to be. It's more accepted to remain single and without kids. It depends on the family, I suppose. I hear some people complaining constantly about how their parents ask "when are you going to start a family" I would find that seriously annoying. I feel sorry for those people.

If you were asked to recommend one destination in your country to LiveJournal friends who had never been to your country before, what place would you choose, and why?

I have not uploaded a picture to LJ in forever, and I want to see how it's done. Don't know if it will work.

Okay, so it does work, but it looks like I can leave the image much closer to the original size than how I do with Fur Affinity. When I post there, it will look much much bigger. I don't know why it works out like that. Anyway, that's a doodle I did today or a hillbilly possum with A little Brown Jug that is stuck on him. You know the song.

I am at the end of an allergy attack, and have slowed down on the sneezing my face off. Enough time to put my face back on. Fur Affinity won't be back on line until tomorrow. Man, I really want to get started on those commissions! Wish I had the forsight to get those people's emails so I can ask for other reference pictures, but maybe they wouldn't have them handy anyway, since the site is down.

Today I brough the cup cakes to work. I put a little note on there that the person who took the last one had to clean the pan out. It was funny. At lunch time there were three left, so I took one, and then two of my coworkers came up and Matt said he was going to the take the second to the last one, but as he put his hand on the cup cake, my other coworker grabbed the other one out, so Matt was stuck washing the pan out, because he took the last one, but it was trick. I thought it was hilarious.

Thank GOD Christmas is just around the corner, I am going through serious PIE WITHDRAWL! But in the mean time I made sweet strawburry cuppin cakes with pink strawberry, I mean strawburry icin'. Oh, you know, I just remembered that I forgot to sprinkle them with hot pink sugar. I better go do that. I mean, people can't hardly eat a pink cup cake with pink frosting if it isn't all pretty and pinkified with pink sugar ALSO! I do have and keep hot pink sugar for just such emergencies.

I am also addicted to sparkling grape juice. It's so good and make my nose tickle with the bubbles. Eeeeeee!

Thank God that FurAffinity will be back up tomorrow. I miss my dail dosage of furry cartoons, not to mention I want to upload a couple of stupid drawings.

I was trying to draw my characters from my story Otter Damned, when I realized I have no idea what my characters actually look like. After thinking about it long and hard Lestrade looks like Ben Stiller. I don't know what the other charcters look like, though Edmund was really just Edmund Sprakel from my my cartoons. He just kind of was already created, so I guess in my story he's simply a human version of that character. Shin'ichi' is a Japanese punk rocker, so I got to find a reference picture of one of those dudes to draw him. I did, however, know exactly what Molly looks like. I drew her a couple times already.

I wish there was something good on tv. Family Guy is a rerun.

I worked a little bit more on my mask. I also went to pick up some groceries. I am going to bake cup cakes tonight for the office. The day is still young and I don't know what I am in the mood to do, either. I am bored!

Today I met my friend Kris for lunch. I slept super late, and didn't get out of bed until 11:25. Actually I had just finished eating when Kris called. I had a piece of bread anyway with butter. After that we went to Goodwill where Kris helped me pick out a new long coat. I am not sure what color it is, I think it's a sort of dark burgundy. I also bought some curtains for the back porch, which I put up to keep the plants at least a little warmer in this up coming cold weather. We then went to Super Walmart of Mahan drive where Kris wanted to get hair dye and fish food. I got sparkling grape juice, which I discovered I really really like, a sharpie pen and a set of red LED christmas lights and a set of blue LED lights. Those two colors just make me feel really happy. SO I plan to stare at them a lot this evening when it gets dark.

Also, I started working on a new wolf mask last night. For years and years I have been meaning to make a sort of tribal looking mask. I don't know if that's the right word to describe it, but ultimately it's not supposed to look realistic, it's supposed to be ornamental. I am still working on the armature though.

It's cold in my house now, but I don't really want to turn on the heater, because it dries out the air.

Our Birth Date has been said to describes who we are, what we are good at, and what our
inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the
challenges we are facing. To figure out your Birth Number, add all the
numbers in your Birth Date together, like in the following example,
until there is only one digit.

A Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be,
it will just color your choice differently and give you a little insight.

Example: March 20, 1950
3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20
2 + 0 = 2

Keep going until you end up with a single digit number.
2 is the Birth Number to read for the Birth Date in the example.

#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 THE ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER

# 1 - THE ORIGINATOR - 1's are originals. Coming up with new ideas and
executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another
trait that gets them labeled as being stubborn and arrogant. 1's are
extremely honest and would do well to learn some diplomacy skills. They like to
take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the
best. Being self-employed is definitely helpful for them.
Lessons to learn: Others' ideas might be just as good or better; and to
stay open minded.
{Famous 1's - Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Hulk Hogan, Carol Burnett,
Wynona Judd, Nancy Reagan, and Raquel Welch.}

#2 - THE PEACEMAKER - 2's are the born diplomats. They are aware of
others' needs and moods and often think of others before themselves.
Naturally analytical and very intuitive, they don't like to be alone.
Friendship and companionship are very important and can lead them to be
successful in life; but, on the other hand, they'd rather be alone than
in an uncomfortable relationship. Being naturally shy, they should learn
to boost their self-esteem and express themselves freely and seize the
moment and not put things off.
{Famous 2's - President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopie Goldberg, Thomas
Edison, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.}

# 3 - THE LIFE OF THE PARTY - 3's are idealists. They are very
creative,social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many things but
don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great
lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They
should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view.
{Famous 3's - Alan Alda, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie Griffith,
Salvador Dali, and Jodi Foster}

# 4 - THE CONSERVATIVE - 4 's are sensible and traditional. They like
order and routine. They only act when they fully understand what they're
expected to do. They like getting their hands dirty and working hard. They are
attracted to the outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. They are prepared to
wait and can be stubborn and persistent. They should learn to be more flexible
and to be nice to themselves {Famous 4's -Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina Turner, Paul Hogan,and Oprah Winfrey}

# 5 - THE NONCONFORMIST - 5's are the explorers. Their natural
curiosity,risk taking, and enthusiasm often land them in hot water.
They need diversity, and don't like to be stuck in a rut. The whole
world is their school and they see a learning possibility in every situation.
The questions never stop. They are well advised to look before they take
action and make sure they have all the facts before jumping to conclusions.
{Famous 5's - Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter,
Vincent Van Gogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hail.}

# 6 - THE ROMANTIC - 6's are idealistic and need to feel useful to be
happy. A strong family connection is important to them. Their actions
influence their decisions. They have a strong urge to take care of others and to
help. They are very loyal and make great teachers. They like art or
music. They make loyal friends who take the friendship seriously. 6's
should learn to differentiate between what they can change and what they
cannot. {Famous 6's - Albert Einst ein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Meryl
Streep,Christopher Columbus, and Goldie Hawn}

#7 - THE INTELLECTUAL - 7's are the searchers. Always probing for
hidden information, they find it difficult to accept things at face value.
Emotions don't sway their decisions. Questioning everything in life,
they don't like to be questioned themselves. Th ey're never off to a fast
start, and their motto is 'slow and steady wins the race.' They come
across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners.
They are technically inclined and make great researchers uncovering
information.They like secrets. They live in their own world and should learn what
is acceptable and what is not in the world at large.
{Famous 7's - William Shakespeare, Lucille Ball, Michael Jackson, Joan
Baez, Princess Diana, and Vince Ricciardi}

# 8 - THE BIG SHOT - 8's are the problem solvers. They are
professional,blunt, and to the point, have good judgment and are decisive. They have
grand plans and like to live the good life. They take charge of people.
They view people objectively. They should learn to base their
decisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.
{Famous 8's - Edgar Cayce, Barbra Streisand, George Harrison, Jane
Fonda,Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, and Nostradamus.}

#9 - THE PERFORMER - 9's are natural entertainers. They are very caring
and
generous, giving away their last dollar to help. With their charm, they
have no problem making friends and nobody is a stranger to them.
They have so many different personalities that people around them have a
hard time understanding them. They are like chameleons, ever changing
and blending in. They have tremendous luck, but also can suffer from
extremes in fortune and mood. To be successful, they need to build a loving
foundation. {Famous 9s - Albert Schweitzer, Shirley MacLaine, Harrison Ford, Jimmy
Carter, and Elvis Presley}
